The Mill LA wanted me to work once again with Pleix directors Olivier and Eric and CG lead this Lexus campaign promoting the launch of the HS hybrid. The campaign consisted of 4 commercials, one 60 seconds and three 30’s, all showcasing the technological features of the hybrid, like sonar, radar, infra-red and eye tracking. I did extensive look dev work prior to the shoot from my studio in London, and then head over to LA to lead the CG team and complete the post production. I was also hands on developing ICE particle systems for the sonar visualization and 3D point cloud radar effects and doing animation and rendering. I love that owl shot, which sadly never made it on-air as one of the clients thought it felt too Harry Potter! Luckily it is in this director’s cut.
